Dr. Ammar Hemaidan, MD

Dr Hemaidan specialties include Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine. He is licensed in the state of Florida and has been in practice for over 23 years. Dr. Hemaidan is a graduate of Aleppo University School of Medicine and has his medical training at University of Texas; Indiana University Medical Center and St. Helen’s Hospital in Hastings England. Dr. Hemaidan is the Chairman for the Department of Medicine at Halifax Medical Center. He is also the Director of Gastroenterology Department for Florida Health Care Plans. His awards and recognitions include FMA Distinguished Physician Certificate, “America’s Top Physicians” listing for many years, “Top 100 Doctors in America” National Leadership Award, AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Dr. Saud Suleiman, MD
Dr. Suleiman specialties include Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is licensed in the state of Florida and has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr. Suleiman attended Damascus University, completed his residency at Mercy Hospital in Chicago and a Fellowship at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. He has served as the Chief of Gastroenterology Department for Halifax Medical Center from 2004 to 2008. In 2009 Dr. Suleiman was listed as one of America’s top 100 physicians. He speaks English and Arabic.
Dr. Hassan Zulfiqar, MD, AGAF
Dr. Zulfiqar specialties include Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is licensed in the state of Florida and has been in practice for over 20 years. He is a Fellow for the American Gastroenterology Association. He graduated from Sind Medical College and Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center; completing his residency at University of Illinois Chicago. He has completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tulane University in New Orleans and Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Zulfiqar is currently serving as the Chief of Gastroenterology Department for Halifax Medical Center. In 2007 he was the recipient of the Physicians Recognition Award by the American Research Council. He also received the Physicians Recognition Award in 2006 from the American Medical Association. He speaks English and Hindi/Urdu.
